I’ve just finished reading a wonderful recent book that addresses struggling learners in immersion classrooms and I recommend it highly for anyone who is looking for more information on that area.

It has everything a reader would want: human interest stories, a research base, clear strategies, and an outstanding bibliography! It was produced by and is available from the Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition (CARLA) at the University of Minnesota.
