Resources for Learning More about Dyslexia / Learning Disabilities

by Irene

I know that Pinterest offers lots of resources that are helpful for language teachers.  I came across one recently that you might find helpful for learning more about dyslexia.  The site helps you better understand how the brains of students with dyslexia work differently.  It also give some images for how a student with dyslexia might see printed text on a page.  Remember that there are many different manifestations of dyslexia and one sample does not begin to cover them all, but check it out and see what you can learn!

Another excellent resource to learn more about learning disabilities is the National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD).  You can sign up to get their newsletter.  Here is the link for that organization:       https://www.ncld.org/
